Offensive Security Engineer ยท Helsinki, Finland

Hello, friend or foe

I'm Pontus Keski-Pukkila

I have been interested in everything related to security and privacy since elementary school, when I coded my first malware disguised as a quiz. It was no sophisticated firmware rootkit, but the little project sparked an unquenchable interest in computers and especially security. Back then I had no idea that offensive cybersecurity was an actual job, let alone one you could get a salary from.

Since then I have carried out hundreds of successful, legally authorized attack simulations against organizations around the world, including operators of critical infrastructure such as air traffic, power grids and telecommunications. I have found exploitable vulnerabilities in products by Microsoft, Google, Mozilla and Foxit, and recreated the NSA's QUANTUMINSERT concept as an email focused attack technique.

If I have a superpower, it is not giving up. I have to find a solution to the problem, no matter what, and I will come up with a way to solve it, no matter what. The problems I enjoy most are the ones that look impossible at first.
